Is DQTube Pro a good choice for moving vehicles?
No. DQTube Pro is recommended only for fixed-installation equipment and fuel storage tanks.
Because of its size, it can only be used in tanks with an opening larger than 2".
Its capacity is 400 ml, making it ideal for standby generators, for example.
The internal spring also helps insertion when the opening is not straight.
Which filter is suitable for an IBC tank?
DQTube MT is the best choice for IBC tanks.
It is a large and robust filter that can bind up to 1000 ml of water.
It is recommended for tanks with a filler opening larger than 3".
I have a 10,000-liter diesel storage tank - which filter is suitable?
In this case, DQTube LT is recommended, with a capacity of 5 liters.
It is suitable for any storage tank with an opening larger than 4".
What determines which filter I can use?
Choosing the right filter does not depend only on tank size.
Important factors include:
- the diameter of the filler opening
- the position of the opening
- the design (straight or non-straight)
Example: Even if you have a 10,000-liter tank, if the opening is smaller than 4" but larger than 3", only the DQTube MT filter can be inserted.
Is any modification required to insert the filter?
No. Installing the filters does not require any modification.
How often should the filter be replaced?
The filter is generally recommended for use for up to 6 months.
Important: the amount of water captured by the filter should be checked monthly, and it should be replaced earlier if necessary.
